PPC is a family owned and operated business.
Founded in 2002 by Ryan Broderson along with his wife Shannon. Ryan was born into a family of homebuilders. His grandfather was a homebuilder in Washington state and he started Broderson Construction. Later Ryan's uncle Peter became the owner of Broderson Construction. In 2000, Ryan and Shannon moved to Spearfish, SD and in 2002 they started Broderson Construction of South Dakota. Then in 2005 Ryan formed a partnership with his brother Aaron and Broderson Bros. Const., LLC was born. During this time they built many homes and performed many sub-contract trades, excavation, concrete, framing, siding, decks, and roofing for other general contractors. In 2011 the decision was made to dissolve the partnership and Ryan bought Aaron's half of the business. Ryan and Shannon decided to rename the business and Prairie Plains Const., LLC was created. Ryan, now along with his sons and other employees, continues to build affordable, quality homes and remodel/renovate in the Northern Black Hills area.
